Pope's Harley-Davidson up for sale

A Harley-Davidson motorcycle donated to Pope Francis will be auctioned to raise funds for charity.

The US manufacturer gave the custom 2013 Dyna Super Glide to the pontiff last year when it held an event in the Vatican to mark the 110th anniversary of its foundation.

Pope Francis signed his name on the side of the gas tank. The motorcycle was donated to a charity organization in Rome.

The auction will be held in Paris on Thursday. The organizer says more than 30 bidders have applied to join the auction.

The charity says it will use the money from the sale to renovate a soup kitchen and a hostel for the homeless.
