Aston Martin recall 17,000 vehicles

Aston Martin - the maker of the DB5 sports car driven by James Bond in the movie, "Goldfinger" - is recalling more than 17,000 vehicles because of a potentially defective part.

It's taking the action after the discovery that a Chinese sub-supplier was allegedly using counterfeit plastic material in part of the accelerator pedal. The UK-based luxury car maker said the recall involved most of its sports cars built since late 2007.
